The Problem:
The organization Thought for food (TFF) has been bringing together hundreds start-ups around the world to present their ideas around food innovation. The event was a great place for entrepreneurs to share their innovation and also raise funds, but in 2020 the whole world shut down due to covid and TFF had to think of solutions.

The Project:
TFF organized an online event, but they had to fit an entire event that would normally be 3 days long into a 2 hour online program. I was brought in the team to create 10 short documentaries about each start-up. Since traveling was not an option, I had to write, shoot and conduct interviews remotely without leaving my desk. We managed to work with filmmakers from 4 different continents with completely different time zones. It was an exciting and chaotic experience at first, but the results were very gratifying and we interviewed another 10 start-ups the following year in 2021 without leaving my desk.
